  12. Our family enjoys a pumpkin carving contest at Halloween.

    Everyone carves their own pumpkin and then we vote on our favourite.

    Afterwards, we enjoy a pot luck dinner together.

    It is always so much fun. I am looking forward to it again in a few weeks.

  29. Just carving pumpkins and eating toasted pumpkin seeds. Now that we moved near an apple farm, I think we started a new tradition of getting fresh pressed apple cider ( you watch them make it) and getting warm apple crisps from their store front!

  53. Fall is harvest time here on the Ponderosa. We have baled the hay, harvested the fescue earlier but just chopped the sorghum silage last week and soon and very soon we will harvest the corn fields. Besides all the work I adore all my fall flowers. Woohoo!!!
